Michelle Odom

Michelle Odom has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michelle currently holds the position of Vice President Human Resources at CARTI, where they joined in May 2021. Prior to this, Michelle worked at Arkansas Children's for a significant portion of their career. Michelle served as the Director of HR Operations from March 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they played a crucial part in talent planning, acquisition, and workforce analysis. From January 2014 to March 2019, Michelle held the position of Director of Recruitment and Retention, overseeing hiring functions and employee relations. Before that, they served as the Director of Nursing Recruitment and Retention from September 2009 to January 2014. Michelle's earlier roles at Arkansas Children's include Nursing Director of Surgical Departments and Assistant Manager for 3-Blue and 3-Orange units. Prior to joining Arkansas Children's, Michelle worked as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Central Arkansas in 2000.

Michelle Odom completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the University of Central Arkansas from 1992 to 1998. Michelle further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from 1999 to 2005.
