Gavin Ferrar

Gavin Ferrar is the current Chief Financial Officer at Central Asia Metals. Gavin has over fifteen years of experience in mining finance and business development. Prior to their current position, Gavin served as the Chief Financial Officer at Q Resources plc from February 2011 until September 2012. In this role, they were responsible for business development and financing acquisitions, project capital, and corporate development.

From August 2007 to January 2011, Gavin worked as a commodities and resource finance manager at Investec. Gavin was responsible for fund management, proprietary equity investment, debt structuring, and commodity hedging. In 2006, they became a director at WestLB and worked in investment banking for metals and mining.

Gavin began their career in 1995 as a project manager at Anglo American. Gavin held this position until 1999 when they transitioned to Barclays Capital as an investment banker for mining and metals. Gavin remained in this role until 2005.

Throughout their career, Gavin has demonstrated success in financial management and business development within the mining industry. Gavin's experience has made him a valuable asset to Central Asia Metals.

Gavin Ferrar has an MBA in Finance from Imperial College London, an MSc in Geology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and a BSC (Hons) in Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
