Armen Hovhannisyan

Armen Hovhannisyan has a diverse work experience. Armen started their career at Converse Bank in 2005 as a Leading Specialist in the Methodology and Analysis Department, where they worked until 2007. In July 2007, they joined the Central Bank of Armenia as a Trader in the Monetary Policy Operations (Domestic Markets) Division. Armen later became a Senior Trader in the same division before being promoted to Head of the Monetary Policy Operations (Domestic Markets) Division in February 2014. In December 2019, they assumed the role of Head of the Financial (Markets) Operations Department, where they currently work. In 2013, they also founded their own company called MoneyMarket.am.

Armen Hovhannisyan obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Yerevan State University from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution from 2001 to 2005. Armen also attended Gyumri Balaton Lyceum from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Physics and Mathematics, though they did not receive a degree in this field. In addition to their academic qualifications, Armen Hovhannisyan obtained the ACI Dealing Certificate from ACI The Financial Markets Association in January 2014.
