Luke D. McDermott ACA is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting operations and regulatory reporting. Currently serving as the Accounting Operations & Tax Senior Manager and Financial Controller at Central Bank of Ireland since September 2022, Luke previously held the position of Financial & Regulatory Reporting Accountant at Greenval Insurance DAC from October 2018 to September 2022, focusing on management reporting and compliance with Solvency II regulations. Prior to that, Luke worked as a Financial Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, managing corporate and regulatory reporting for the EMEA region, and held various roles at PwC Ireland, where responsibilities included assurance and advisory work for banking and aviation finance sectors.
