Mick Callan

Mick Callan is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in architecture and technology leadership. Currently serving as Senior IT Architect at the Central Bank of Ireland since November 2018, Mick leads critical projects in financial regulation and procurement, focusing on strategy and governance within the Architecture function. Previously, Mick held the position of President of IASA Ireland, overseeing the strategic direction of the organization. With a background that includes roles as Enterprise Architect at Aer Lingus and Senior Solutions Architect at the Central Bank of Ireland, Mick has demonstrated expertise in cross-functional collaboration and enterprise architecture. Additional experience at EirGrid involved technology, security, and business architecture, while early career roles included Senior Developer positions at National Australia Bank and Senior Software Engineer roles at Insyston and Integrity Treasury Solutions. Mick holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications from Dublin City University and a Higher National Diploma in Cloud Strategy Innovation from the Irish Management Institute.
