Acis Connie M. Gumo Fciarb

Connie M. Gumo FCIArb, ACIS, serves as Legal Counsel for Banking and Payment Systems at the Central Bank of Kenya since September 2019, while also acting as a Virtual Policy Adviser for FSD Kenya since September 2015. In addition, Connie holds the position of Treasurer for the ICSA Kenya Branch since March 2014 and Company Secretary at North Hill Management Ltd since September 2005. Previously, Connie provided legal counsel and served as assistant Board secretary at the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation from March 2012 to September 2019, and as Legal Counsel for the Deposit Protection Fund Board from June 2004 to March 2012, advising on various legal matters including corporate governance and finance. Connie obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick in 2001 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Reading in 2000.
