Ruth Ita Tikani

Ruth Ita Tikani is a Senior Portfolio Officer at the Central Bank of Kenya since April 2014. Ruth Ita also holds the title of FX Trader/Treasury Analyst, managing FX reserves in fixed income and cash investments. Ruth mediates negotiations in the inter-bank market and the reserve to maintain stability in the foreign exchange rate. Prior to their current role, Ruth Ita interned at KCB Bank Group. Ruth holds a Master's degree in Finance from Durham University and a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® certificate from Corporate Finance Institute®. Ruth Ita also completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University.
