Abdullah al Harthi

Abdullah Al Harthi serves as the Undersecretary for the Ministry of Finance since July 2020 and is a Member of the Board of Governors at the Central Bank of Oman. Al Harthi has been a Board Member of the Oman Investment Authority since May 2001, contributing to Oman's Sovereign Wealth Fund. With extensive experience in finance, Al Harthi has held various senior positions at Petroleum Development Oman, including Board Member from January 2021 to December 2022, and has served as Vice Chairman on the boards of several organizations, including Oman National Investments Development Company "TANMIA," Sohar International, and أساس - ASAAS. Additional leadership roles include Chairman of the Board for Vietnam Oman Investment and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Mercantile Exchange. Abdullah Al Harthi holds an MBA in Global Business Leadership from IMD and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University.
