Ahmed al Lawati

Ahmed Al Lawati is a Senior Information Security Analyst at Mala'a, where responsibility includes leading information security management and digital transformation initiatives since February 2020. As a member of the Central Bank of Oman's Digital Transformation Task Force since January 2023, Ahmed serves as Mala'a's focal point for digital transformation efforts. Prior experience includes roles in network security and IT governance at the State Audit Institution from April 2014 to February 2020, along with internships in various technical capacities at organizations such as Royal Oman Police, Bank Dhofar, and Oman Arab Bank. Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Forensic Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth and Chevening Awards, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the Higher College of Technology.
