Jihad al Wahshi

Jihad Al Wahshi currently serves as the Head of Data Management at the Central Bank of Oman, a position held since January 2019, following roles as a Business Analysis Specialist. Jihad's previous experience includes being a part-time lecturer at the College of Banking and Financial Studies from February 2017 to August 2019 and a Senior Business Analyst at the Central Bank of Oman from August 2012 to June 2018. Earlier in the career, Jihad worked as a System Specialist at Muscat Securities Market from January 2010 to July 2012. Jihad holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Science/Studies from The University of Sheffield (2019-2023), a Master's degree in Data Science (Big Data) from The University of Sheffield (2015-2016), and a Bachelor's degree in IT with a focus on Networking from Sohar College of Applied Sciences (2005-2010).
