Ulugbek Khamidjonov

Ulugbek Khamidjonov began their work experience in 2018 as an Intern at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From there, they joined the Central Bank of Uzbekistan as an Economist in June 2018. In July 2020, they were promoted to Head of Division at the Central Bank, where they continue to work.

Ulugbek Khamidjonov earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with First Class Honours in Economics with Finance from Westminster International University in Tashkent. Ulugbek attended the university from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Ulugbek pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Penn State University. Ulugbek completed this program from 2023 to 2025. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ulugbek also holds a certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts, which they obtained from Bloomberg LP in December 2018.
