Octavia Selim

Octavia Selim is an accomplished data engineer currently employed at Central City Concern since July 2023, following a role as a software engineer at Kyruus from April 2022 to February 2023. In 2021, Octavia completed a comprehensive program at General Assembly, accumulating over 500 hours of instruction in both front and back end technologies. Octavia's experience also includes serving as a physical therapy aide at Providence Health & Services, where a promotion led to responsibilities in patient care and scheduling. Additional roles encompass leadership and support positions in various organizations, from campus director at University Tees to shift lead at Greenleaf Juice. Octavia holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Oregon State University and has gained diverse skills through internships in both the medical and technology sectors.
