April Carr

April Carr is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and clinical research. Currently serving as a Counselor Trainee at Central Clinic Behavioral Health since February 2021, April previously held the position of Director of Programming and Evaluation at Elementz Hip Hop Cultural Art Center from August 2020 to November 2021. April's clinical expertise was further developed during a lengthy tenure as a Clinical Research Coordinator III at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from July 2001 to November 2021. Early career roles include Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Case Manager at CORE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, INC. April holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central State University.
