Carlos Ortuno

Process Development Engineer at Central Coast Agriculture, Inc.

Carlos Ortuno has a diverse work experience beginning in 2008 as a Secretary at Academy West Insurance. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Assistant Supervisor at Belmont Carwash. Carlos then became a Student Tutor at State Center Community College District, Reedley College from October 2010 to January 2011. In 2014, Carlos worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at San José State University Research Foundation until 2016. Following this, they joined the University of California, Merced as a Graduate Student from August 2016 to May 2019. In 2019, Carlos started working at Cresco Labs, where they held various roles, including Chemist from April 2019 to February 2020, Formulation Scientist from February 2020 to October 2020, and Manufacturing Manager from May 2020 to November 2020. Finally, in 2020, they began working as a Process Development Engineer at Central Coast Agriculture, Inc.

Carlos Ortuno has a diverse education history. Carlos obtained their Master's degree in Nanotechnology from the University of California, Merced, from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from San Jose State University, studying from 2013 to 2016. Before entering San Jose State, Carlos attended Reedley College, where they focused on Chemistry from 2011 to 2013. Carlos also briefly pursued Welding Technology/Welder at Reedley College from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their academic degrees, Carlos obtained a certification in Radioactive Chemical Safety from San Jose State University in June 2015.
