Dylan Wood

Dylan Wood has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and safety. Dylan began their career at SC Field Technical Services in 2015 as an Application Engineer, where they focused on vessel emergency safety equipment sizing and provided maintenance and emergency services. In 2016, they joined California State University-Long Beach as a Hazardous Materials Specialist until 2017. During this time, they gained expertise in handling hazardous materials safely. Dylan then joined SpaceX as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer in 2017 and worked there until 2019. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring employee safety and environmental sustainability during launch activities. In 2019, they joined Firefly Aerospace as an EH&S Launch Engineer, focusing on environmental and safety aspects during the launch process. Currently, Dylan is working at Central Coast Agriculture, Inc. since 2020, where they initially served as a Safety Supervisor until 2021 and later transitioned to the role of Process Development Engineer.

Dylan Wood earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the College of Engineering at California State University Long Beach. Dylan attended from 2010 to 2015.
