Charles Mallory possesses extensive experience in information technology management across various sectors. Currently serving as Information Technology Manager at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District since June 2022, Charles previously held positions including Director of Information Systems at El Segundo, Ca from January 2018 to July 2022, and Assistant Director of Information Management at the Port of Long Beach from March 2008 to December 2017. Prior to this, Charles was Director of Information Technology Services at California State University, Los Angeles from 2006 to 2008, where oversight included IT operations for 4000 staff and 20,000 students. Charles began a career in information systems as Regional Director of Information Systems at American Medical Response from 1998 to 2005, managing IS infrastructure for 911 medical transportation. Educational qualifications include a BS in Management Information Systems from Azusa Pacific University and studies at Indiana University Bloomington.

The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) has been protecting public health and the environment by collecting and cleaning wastewater from the residents and businesses of central Contra Costa County since 1946. Whatever goes down their toilets and drains travels through our vast 1,500 miles of sewer system to our award winning treatment plant in Martinez, where we clean over 13 billion gallons of wastewater each year. Most of that water is safely cleaned and released into Suisun Bay. An additional 2 million gallons each day of recycled water is produced for landscape irrigation and industrial uses. Central San also operates a one of the most highly successful Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facilities in the nation and sponsors 13 pharmaceutical collection bins.
