Jacob Hansen

Jacob Hansen is an experienced professional in emergency medical services, currently serving as the Director of Operations, Continuous Improvement Manager, and Commander at Central Ems since October 2015, overseeing EMS operations for Forsyth County, GA. Hansen has a diverse background, including roles as a Flight Paramedic in the US Army starting in August 2017, and as a Paramedic in the United States Marine Corps from July 2011 to August 2017, where the focus included chemical biological radiological nuclear defense. Earlier experience includes work as an EMT-Basic at Swansboro Rescue Squad and as a Fire Fighter at Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Hansen’s educational background includes certifications from Coastal Carolina Community College and Lenoir Community College in Fire/Rescue and Emergency Medical Technology, as well as a degree in Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport from Rush University.
