Director Of Records Management at Central Florida Expressway Authority

Tim O'Toole has a diverse work experience in the field of records management and information governance. Tim began their career in 1998 as an Account Manager at Iron Mountain. In 2000, they joined the Lake County Board of County Commissioners as a Records Manager. From 2003 to 2012, Tim served as the Chapter President of ARMA Orlando, where they were responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the chapter. During this time, they also held the role of Public Records Administrator at the Reedy Creek Improvement District, where they administered the Public Records Law. In 2011, Tim joined ARMA International as a Region Coordinator, providing assistance and direction to chapters and members within the South East Region. Tim later became the SE Region Director, where they were responsible for coordinating all region activities and initiatives. Tim's most recent role was as the Director of Records Management at the Central Florida Expressway Authority since 2017.

Tim O'Toole, CRM, IGP, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance, Investments, and Economics from the UCF College of Business and the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In December 2018, they received the Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification from the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM). O'Toole also acquired additional certifications, including Dealing with Difficult People from Fred Pryor Seminars/CareerTrack in November 2016, Project Management Workshop from Fred Pryor Seminars and CareerTrack in February 2016, Information Governance Professional (IGP) Certification from ARMA International in June 2022, and Certified Information Professional (CIP) from AIIM International in May 2019.
