Michelle Maikisch

Michelle Maikisch began their work experience in 2003 as a Marketing/Public Involvement professional at Hatch Mott MacDonald. After that, they worked as a Public Information Specialist at PBS&J from 2005 to 2008. Michelle then joined the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority as a Public Affairs Coordinator from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Director of Communication and Public Affairs at the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX). Afterwards, they took on the role of Chief of Staff/Public Affairs Officer at CFX from 2015 to 2023. Currently, they are the Executive Director at the Central Florida Expressway Authority.

Michelle Maikisch attended Florida State University from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication/Marketing. Additionally, they received additional certifications in The Chief of Staff Association Micro-Credentials from The Chief of Staff Association in September 2021.
