Nurez Madhany

Nurez Madhany is the COO at True Health. Nurez has dedicated their career to working in the healthcare industry and has held various positions that have allowed their to help others in many different ways.

Madhany started their career at the American Cancer Society in October 2013 as a Health Systems Manager. In this role, they were responsible for account management and brand ambassador duties for 10 counties. Nurez promoted the adoption and implementation of ACS programs and delivered on evidence-based cancer screening strategies designed to have a broad population impact on reducing cancer incidence by closing gaps in care and focusing on continuous quality improvement. During their time at the American Cancer Society, Madhany was also the co-primary author of The Colonoscopy Needs Calculator.

In 2018, Madhany was honored as a True Champion for their collaborative work with a local Federally Qualified Health Center (True Health). Nurez was also a member of the National Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine Adolescents against Cancers Primary Care Advisory Board. Additionally, they served as the co-lead of the Asian American, Pacific Islander Employee Engagement Group and was responsible for overseeing the relationship and account management of prioritized primary care systems, integrated delivery systems, community-based entities, and health plans.

Madhany’s vast experience in the healthcare industry has allowed their to make a significant impact in the lives of others. Through their work, they have been able to help improve UDS and HEDIS measures, decrease mortality rates, and provide education and support to physicians and healthcare staff around cancer screening and early detection priorities.

Nurez Madhany completed their undergraduate studies at Emory University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Nurez then went on to complete a certificate program in Quality & Safety at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. After several years working in the healthcare field, they decided to return to school to pursue a Master of Public Health degree in Health Management & Policy at Georgia State University. While completing their MPH, they also earned certificates in Disaster Management and Non-Profit Management.

Their manager is Janelle Dunn, CEO. Nurez Madhany works with Ashley Baker - Director, Business Development, Jo Cerra - Director of Revenue Cycle, and Jami Thomas - Director of HR. Some individuals on their team include Jafet Rios - Associate Director, Operations, Sheyla Almedina - Director, Operations.
