Sarah Ainsworth serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Finance Director at Central Hall Venues since September 2016. Previously, Sarah held the role of Finance Director at The Shared Learning Trust from January 2015 to February 2016, and at Hendon School from January 2014 to January 2015, enhancing financial management in educational settings. Sarah's extensive experience in finance includes significant positions at ED&F Man from March 2000 to January 2014, where responsibilities encompassed Deputy CFO and Group Risk Director across multiple divisions. Sarah began a career in finance at Man Group, Standard Chartered Bank, and Grant Thornton LLP, holding various roles that established a robust foundation in financial oversight and risk management. Sarah earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St Andrews and holds ICAEW qualifications, including a Diploma in IFRS.

Central Hall Venues is the umbrella name and support network for a group of conference and events venues around the United Kingdom, the group is owned by the company Central Hall Westminster Ltd. The group currently manages locations in Central London, York and Edinburgh and we are looking to expand further in the future. All venues are contained within Methodist Halls that were primarily built as meeting places for the public. The company places a strong emphasis on sustainability, environmental & charitable initiatives and the welfare of our staff.
