Douglas Byrne

Douglas Byrne has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Project Manager and holding managerial roles in Client Care Services and Support Services at Central Health NL since December 2019. Prior to this, Douglas worked at Irving Oil as Retail Operations Manager from August 2015 to December 2019 and held various positions at BP, including Fluids Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed project management and contractor management in deepwater drilling operations from February 2013 to June 2015. Douglas began a career in business development at Impact Fluid Solutions from January 2010 to February 2013, overseeing North American operations and presenting technical solutions to major industry players. Earlier roles included Technical Service Engineer and PROACT Engineer at M-I SWACO, where Douglas managed engineering projects, equipment installations, and field training. Douglas's career began as a Field Operator and Terminal Operator at Irving Oil, showcasing a strong foundational knowledge in petroleum engineering, earned from CONA College from 1999 to 2002.
