Kevin Condon is a seasoned public affairs and government relations professional with extensive experience in the electric cooperative and communications sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs at Central Iowa Power Cooperative since August 2024, Condon previously held the position of Director of Government Relations at the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives for eight years. Prior roles include Director of Public Affairs at the Iowa Communications Alliance and Director of Government Relations at the Iowa Association of Business and Industry. Condon's early career included significant roles within the United States Senate, working for former Iowa Senator Tom Harkin in various capacities, as well as positions with the National Farmers Union and U.S. Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle. Condon holds a Master of Public Administration from Iowa State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and English from the University of Iowa.
