Alish Dhamala

Alish Dhamala has been working in the software engineering field since 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Student Software Developer and Math Tutor at Southeastern Louisiana University. As a Student Software Developer, they designed and developed responsive web applications using PHP Laravel, MySQL, and JavaScript (jQuery). As a Math Tutor, they helped students develop study skills, problem solving skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.

In 2018 and 2019, Alish Dhamala worked as a Software Engineering Intern at ABOUT. In 2018, they modified existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Alish also worked on Ensocare Respond App and Ensocare Transition App using Ionic Framework, Angular and Typescript. In 2019, they worked closely with product managers, testers, and senior developers to identify and implement features required in the products, using Spring Boot and Angular Framework. Alish also wrote Unit test cases for the newly added features using JUnit and Jasmine.

In 2020, Alish Dhamala worked as a Software Engineer at ABOUT. Alish developed the User Interface for Ensocare Emulator using React and Redux. Alish also analyzed legacy Emulator code and identified REST API to implement with senior developers. Alish developed and provided a deployable new Emulator portal build to Operations team.

Alish Dhamala obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2021, having started the program in 2017. Additionally, in March 2021, Alish obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
