Scott Cyr has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Scott started their career as an Internal Medicine Resident at Baystate Health in July 2002, where they worked until June 2005. In July 2005, they joined Central Maine Medical Center as a Hospitalist, a role they still hold. In March 2018, Scott took on the position of Medical Director of Central Maine Rehabilitation at the same company.
Scott Cyr completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology from the University of New England between 1995 and 1999. Scott then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree in Osteopathic Medicine from 1999 to 2002. Prior to their university education, Scott attended Wisdom Middle High School from 1991 to 1995.
In addition to their degrees, Scott has acquired several certifications. In 2005, they obtained the certification of Hospital Medicine, Focused Practice from the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2010, they obtained the FACOI (Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists) certification from ACOI. More recently, in 2018, Scott became a Senior Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine, although the specific month of certification is unknown.
