Katie Yates

Katie Yates is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in community relations and outreach. Currently, Yates oversees a $1 million charitable giving portfolio at Central Maine Power Company, focusing on building strong partnerships with nonprofit organizations and community groups. Previous roles include serving as Community Relations and Outreach Manager at AVANGRID, where Yates acted as a spokesperson and coordinated media engagements, and as a Marketing Specialist at the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, where Yates hosted a popular podcast. Yates also has a background in marketing from the Palm Beach Photographic Centre and federal grants management from the USDA-NRCS, in addition to experience as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service. Yates holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources/Conservation from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Wells College.
