Shawn MacConnell

Shawn MacConnell has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shawn started their career in 2002 as a Sandblaster & Painter at Stalcon, where they were responsible for sandblasting and painting industrial equipment. Shawn also had additional responsibilities during sulfuric acid plant turnarounds.

In 2007, Shawn joined American Valve & Pump as a Sandblaster, Painter, and Valve Tech Apprentice. Shawn worked in this role until 2009.

In 2011, Shawn had two different positions. Shawn first worked as a Metallurgical Lab Tech at Mosaic (Aerotek) for a few months. Then, they transitioned to Safety Solutions & Supply as a Safety and Health Project Associate. In this role, their responsibilities included assisting clients with achieving safety performance milestones and administering safety training and development of safety programs.

Shawn then joined Central Maintenance and Welding, Inc. in 2013 as a Field Safety Superintendent. After two years in this role, they were promoted to Safety Director. As Safety Director, they oversaw safety-related matters within the company until October 2020 when they took on the role of Vice President.

Overall, Shawn MacConnell has held various positions throughout their career, starting from entry-level roles and progressing to higher-level positions in safety and management.

Shawn MacConnell, CSM holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health. This degree was obtained from Columbia Southern University, although the specific years of attendance are not known.
