Alison Arnold is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational leadership and community health. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Rural Health Equity Institute, as well as directing the Interdisciplinary Center for Community Health & Wellness and Community Partnerships at Central Michigan University since August 2014, Alison has demonstrated a strong commitment to health equity and community engagement. In addition, Alison is the owner of Learning Potentials LLC, focusing on field guidance since August 2013. Previous roles include Director of Communications at Michigan State University's Office of K-12 Outreach and Director of Communications & Marketing for Traverse City Area Public Schools. Alison's career began at Roundtable Team Inc as President, and earlier experiences include serving as Adjunct Faculty and Research and Training Consultant at Northwestern Michigan College and in regional marketing and sales at IBM. Alison holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University and a BA in English Literature and Secondary Education from Wittenberg University.
