Charbel Habib

Charbel Habib, PhD, DABR, currently serves as the Head of the Medical Physics Division at MyMichigan Health since December 2024 and holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University since February 2019. Prior to this, Charbel held roles as Chief Medical Physicist and Medical Physicist at St. Mary's of Michigan from December 2018 to December 2024. Charbel's previous experience includes working as an Adjunct Instructor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and completing a Medical Physics Residency at Beaumont Health. Charbel's earlier positions include an Information Management Advisor at Magnetic Resonance Innovations, Inc., and various academic roles at Wayne State University, including Assistant Professor of Radiology and Graduate Research Assistant. Charbel earned a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and multiple degrees from Wayne State University, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Notre Dame University in Lebanon.
