Dawn Benson-Hance, MS, LPCC, LSW, has extensive experience in mental health services, serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Central Minnesota Mental Health Center since November 2010. Dawn provides individual counseling and psychoeducation to adults, employing various therapeutic approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Previous roles include Mental Health Practitioner and involvement in crisis management, where Dawn supported clients in crisis situations, developed safety plans, and facilitated rehabilitative services. Dawn also worked at Cook Counseling LLC as a Mental Health Therapist since March 2013, and has held multiple positions in mental health and patient care since 1997. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from St. Cloud State University.

CMMHC’s highly qualified and diversified staff have been providing mental health and chemical dependency services to residents of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright counties for over 60 years. CMMHC is governed by a Board of Directors with representatives from each of the four counties.
