Erica Drewry

Client Services Director at Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging

Erica Drewry has extensive experience in the healthcare and senior services industries. Erica began their career as a Hospice Social Worker at Riverside Methodist Hospital in 1993 and worked there until 1996. Erica then joined the National Church Residences Center for Senior Health as Vice President, a role they held until 2012. In 2004, they became the Executive Director at Heritage Day Health Centers, where they served until 2008. Erica then moved on to National Church Residences, where they held the position of VP of Strategic Planning, Home and Community Services from 2013 to 2016. Following that, they worked at the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, first as the Director of Strategic Initiatives from 2016 to 2017, and later as the Client Services Director from 2017 to the present. Throughout their career, Erica has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing quality care and support to seniors.

Erica Drewry earned a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Miami University, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. If you need help, are caring for a loved one, or are a social services professional, the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging is here to help you navigate and find resources that support older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers. Our mission is to inform and support people as they navigate the experience of aging or disability. We have developed a network of quality programs and services that supports and promotes individual choice, independence and dignity for older adults, individuals with disabilities, their families, and the community. COAAA plans, funds, and delivers services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes. With the assistance of area providers, COAAA arranges and coordinates services to help individuals with daily living such as homemaking, transportation, home delivered meals, and personal care. COAAA offers education and resources to caregivers, professionals, and the public, and we are advocates for programs and policies that benefit older adults and individuals with disabilities. We manage services for 15,000 people and fund services for another 25,000 older adults in eight counties: Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union.
