Central Ohio Primary Care was founded in 1996 when a group of 33 physicians joined together to give greater focus to patient care than the administrative duties that were weighing them down. 

Central Ohio Primary Care is the largest physician-owned primary care group in the United States.

The current leadership team at Central Ohio Primary Care has a long history of experience in the medical field. The team is led by President Medical Staff Riverside Methodist Hospital at OhioHealth and Chair Dept. of Family Medicine Riverside Methodist Hospital at OhioHealth. Both leaders have a wealth of experience in the medical field and have been involved in many different aspects of patient care.
