Zach Sunderland, AICP, currently serves as Transit Program Manager at the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), having started in August 2015. In this role, Zach manages planning for three Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects as part of the LinkUS initiative, including two projects in the Federal Transit Administration's Small Starts Project Development. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Service Planner and Service Planner with the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority from February to December 2014, and various internship roles in planning and zoning with organizations such as Over-the-Rhine Community Housing, Anderson Township, Colerain Township, and Five Rivers MetroParks. Zach holds a Master of Community Planning and a Bachelor of Urban Planning, both from the University of Cincinnati.
