Joseph Burns

Joseph Burns is an experienced physical therapist and clinic coordinator currently employed at CPRS Physical Therapy since March 2020. Prior to this role, Joseph served as the clinic director and physical therapist at Orthopedic & Spine Physical Therapy from June 2018 to March 2020, and completed a 15-week clinical internship as a student physical therapist at Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital in early 2018. During the internship, Joseph evaluated and treated a diverse range of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses, utilizing effective communication strategies and documentation through the Epic Electronic Health Record System. Earlier training included a student physical therapist role at Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy, where Joseph focused on orthopedic and sport-related conditions. Joseph holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, anticipated completion in 2018, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same institution.
