Sara Coes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sara began their career as an Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in 2000 and continued in that role until 2003, when they became an Associate General Counsel for Automation Control Solutions in the Asia Pacific region at Honeywell Aerospace. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of General Counsel for the Asia Pacific Integrated Supply Chain at Honeywell Aerospace, where they remained until 2014. Sara then joined Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert as Of Counsel from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they serve as a Senior Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at Central Pacific Bank, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they were a Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at Central Pacific Bank from 2019 to 2022 and a Vice President and Legal Counsel at the same company from 2016 to 2019.

Sara Coes completed their education at Columbia University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics/Political Science. Sara later attended Columbia Law School from 1997 to 2000, obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
