Heather Parusel

Heather Parusel has over two decades of experience in grant development and management, currently serving as the Executive Director at Central Piedmont Community College since August 2005. In this role, Heather supervises teams that develop 30-50 proposals each year and administers $10 million in grant funding while fostering partnerships and contributing to organizational resource planning. Previously, as the Director of Grants Development, Heather led project designs to enhance community college programs, significantly increasing the number of grants submitted. Prior experience includes serving as the Grant Program Manager at ArtsTeach, where management of three grant programs supported arts education for students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Analysis with a focus on Urban Planning from Bowling Green State University.
