Joevanne Estrada

Joevanne Estrada, Ed.D., serves as the Executive Director for Academic Engagement at Central Piedmont Community College since April 2013, providing strategic oversight on policy implementation and program visibility. Previous roles at the college include Director of The Center for Academic Success & Excellence and Career Pathways Adviser, focusing on student retention, academic support, and equity initiatives. Joevanne’s experience includes conducting doctoral research at Morgan State University on undocumented Latina experiences in higher education and various positions in admissions and athletics at institutions like The Art Institute of Charlotte and Winston-Salem State University. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Morgan State University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Winston-Salem State University.
