Deputy Chief at Central Pierce Fire And Rescue

Brent VanKeulen has a diverse work experience in the field of firefighting and strategic advising. Brent is currently serving as the Deputy Chief at Central Pierce Fire And Rescue since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Fellow at Portland State University from June 2021. From 2020, Brent has been associated with the Western Fire Chiefs Association, where they initially served as Deputy Director (August 2020-November 2022) and is now working as a Strategic Advisor. Brent has also served as the Division Chief of strategic Iniatives at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue for over two decades, from August 1998 to December 2019.
