Bryan Burton

Bryan Burton currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cedar Valley, a position held since February 2023, after acting as Interim Chief Executive Officer from January 2016 to January 2023. Bryan is also a member of the Board of Directors at Central Rivers Area Education Agency, contributing to the establishment of educational policies since October 2013. Additionally, Bryan has been actively involved with the Greater Cedar Valley Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador since June 2005, and has served as Board Chair and Member of Rotary International since 2009. Previous roles include Director of Operations and Area Director for Downtown Services at Boys & Girls Clubs, Director of Facilities Management at Waterloo Courier, and various positions in sales and advertising with Avaya and Schmitt Telecom Partners. Bryan holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Southeast Community College and has pursued education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Saint Augustine's College.

Central Rivers Area Education Agency (AEA) works as a partner to provide services to Iowa public school districts and accredited, nonpublic schools in an 18-county region of north central Iowa. Our goal is to improve the learning outcomes and well-being of all children and youth by employing specialists that most individual school districts could not employ on their own.
