Kavita Rawat

Kavita Rawat works with the Government Projects team on an ADB-funded project which is a results-based lending program. It supports the improvement of education outcomes, particularly foundational learning at the primary level and reduction of dropout rates at the secondary level. She joined Central Square Foundation after completing her Teach for India fellowship (2020) where she led more than 150 girls across 2 government schools and 3 classrooms in the East Delhi community. Kavita holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Ambedkar University Delhi. It was in one of these classrooms that she realised how rather than being angry or debating about things which are not working behind closed walls, it was more important to find sustainable solutions on the ground. During her free time, you can find her reading books, buying books or/while listening to Taylor Swift.
