Jim Sliker forms a vision and makes it a reality through strategic development and structured execution. Jim’s passion to serve extends beyond the workplace as he supports various charitable organizations and schools in the community.
As CEO of Central States Manufacturing, a 100% employee-owned company and leader in the metal building components industry, Jim has encouraged the organization to challenge the status quo and find new opportunities which has resulted in revenue growth that outpaces the competition. The company has transformed systems, processes and technology to support the growth and continually improve best-in-class customer service.
Previously, Jim was the President of Valeo Thermal Systems North America, which was a $1.2 billion business providing air conditioning and engine cooling systems to most of the OEM automotive companies. During his tenure, he held positions in Project Management, Sales and Operations.
Jim earned a BSME from Kettering University along with an MBA from the University of Michigan. He serves on the Bentonville Christian Academy board, Make-A-Wish regional board and the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter board.
