Dominic Elizondo is an experienced Economic Development Planner at the Central Texas Council of Governments since October 2021, focusing on managing economic development projects and Federal and State grants while providing technical assistance to multiple counties. Prior to this role, Dominic served as an independent contractor for Huerfano County Economic Development Inc., where responsibilities included creating a comprehensive business database and administering a Small Business Relief Grant program. As a VISTA volunteer with Downtown Colorado, Inc., Dominic contributed to developing a business resiliency and hazard mitigation program. Earlier experience includes supporting student programs at Communities In Schools of the Permian Basin, improving data analysis processes, and enhancing technology infrastructure. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Texas Tech University, earned in May 2018.
