Judy Shumate

Judy Shumate is a skilled professional with extensive experience in office management and administration. Currently serving as the Public Service Training Coordinator and Emergency Services Generalist at the Central Texas Council of Governments since September 2018, Judy has demonstrated a strong ability to manage daily operations, staff training, and internal processes. Previous roles include Office Manager at Fort Hood Sentinel, where management of a demanding office environment was key, as well as positions at Central Texas College and Texas A&M University-Central Texas as an Administrative Assistant. Judy began a career in graphic design as a Marketing Coordinator at Coldwell Banker United, Realtors, and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Texas A&M University–Central Texas, earned between 2009 and 2013.
