Carlos Hernandez

Mr. Hernandez was elected to the CUHSD Board in 2020 in a special election to fill a mid-term vacancy. Mr. Hernandez is a 2006 graduate of Central Union High School, and a 2010 graduate of UC San Diego. Mr. Hernandez is a 6th grade teacher in the El Centro Elementary School District, but has taught many grade levels in both private and public schools including alternative education for Imperial County. As part of Mr. Hernandez's duties, he sits on the IVROP Board as a representative of CUHSD. Mr. Hernandez's goal for serving on the board is to continue to create a district with the heart of teamwork, dedication, and understanding for all.
