Jorge Albuja-Sánchez

Jorge Albuja-Sánchez is an accomplished professional in civil engineering, specializing in geotechnical engineering. Currently holding various academic positions at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and other institutions, Jorge has coordinated the Laboratory of Material Resistance and has lectured on soil mechanics, geotechnics, and seismic-resistant structures. With extensive experience in consulting through over 480 executed projects, Jorge has also contributed to academic programs both at the master's level and as a guest professor internationally. Jorge's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Engineering Science with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Ferrara and a Master’s degree from Imperial College London.
