Edward Prince has always had a lifelong interest in health, and when he combined that with his woodworking skills that have made his hands useful, orthopedic surgery was a natural career choice. When first attending medical school, he liked the idea of surgery early in his studies. He volunteered to rotate with an orthopedic surgeon and after his first hip replacement, he was hooked.
Dr. Prince earned his bachelor of science in biology from the University of Utah, then continued his education at the Medical College of Wisconsin earning his medical degree (MD) with AOA honors. Additionally, he is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Prince loves improving the quality of life of his patients and helping them to walk again. He performs a lot of hip and knee replacement surgeries, which helps him to hone his skills and improve patient outcomes. He enjoys complex revisions of both hip and knee replacements and enjoys solving the various issues that can occur with these procedures.
