Central Valley Medical Center (CVMC) is a leader among rural health care facilities. The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) listed CVMC in the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in America. CVMC also ranks among the 60 highest Critical Access Hospitals in the United States for Patient Perception. In addition, CVMC's Home Health Agency was recently selected as one of the top 500 Home Health Agencies for 2014. CVMC is a full service hospital offering a broad range of primary care, including emergency, surgical services diagnostic imaging, laboratory, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, orthopedics, acute and skilled nursing care as well as labor and delivery services. The hospital medical staff is comprised of seven family medicine physicians, one general surgeon, one OB/GYN, one orthopedic surgeon, and two radiologists. These professionals along with one Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and two Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) provide health services at CVMC. A cadre of specialists visit the facility on a monthly basis. The hospital serves a population of approximately 40,000 residents spread across Juab, Servier, Sanpete, Millard and Utah Counties. Due to its location near the convergence of three major highway systems (I-15, Highway 89 and SR 28), the facility serves many travelers and visitors recreating in nearby outdoor attractions.
