Carrie Carpenter

Carrie Carpenter has a diverse range of work experience. Carrie started their career as the Director of Human Resources at Goddard College from August 2001 to August 2005. Following this, they worked as an Operations Associate at the Institute for Sustainable Communities from August 2005 to October 2009.

Carrie then transitioned into the crochet and knitting industry, working as the Fashion & Design Coordinator at Caron International from November 2009 to January 2012. Afterward, they held various positions at Valu-Media, including Managing Editor for Crochet 1-2-3 / Knit 1-2-3 from May 2012 to August 2014, and Managing Editor for KNITstyle from August 2013 to January 2014.

Carrie also worked as an Accounting Assistant for Montpelier Public Schools from January 2015 to September 2015. Carrie then took on the role of Finance Support Specialist at Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice from April 2016 to present.

Throughout their career, Carrie has also pursued freelance opportunities as a Crochet Designer, Technical Proofreader, and Crochet Teacher from April 2009 to May 2016.

Carrie Carpenter completed their high school education at U-32 between 1987 and 1990. Following that, they attended Norwich University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Fine Arts.
