Erica Metzger Hare

Erica is the chief financial officer of Aspire Living & Learning, a multi-state human services agency with more than 1,200 employees. A seasoned executive, Erica has broad experience across the healthcare, human services, nonprofit and higher education industries. She was the executive vice president for administration and chief financial officer of the Vermont College of Fine Arts from 2009 to 2019. Prior to that, she held progressive managerial and administrative roles with New York City hospitals, including Columbia University Medical Center, New York University Medical Center and The Mount Sinai Medical Center. She began her career as a management consultant with Accenture.

Erica is commissioner of the Vermont Commission on Women, co-founder of ElevateHer VT, treasurer of Beth Jacob Synagogue, and she serves on the finance committee of Orchard Velley Waldorf School. She received bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College and her master’s in business administration from New York University Stern School of Business.
