Jerry Brown

Jerry Brown, Jr. currently serves as the Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Mary Washington, a position held since August 2023. Brown has extensive experience in admissions and recruitment, including roles such as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Virginia Commonwealth University and Assistant Director of Recruitment at Virginia State University. Additionally, Brown has been actively involved with the Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, serving as President since December 2019 and holding previous positions such as President-Elect and VP of Membership and Communications. Beyond admissions, Brown is a football official for the Central Virginia Football Officials Association, officiating Middle, JV, and Varsity football games. Brown holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular & Physiological Biology from Christopher Newport University.
